SEEKING GOD IN MY CONTEXT TODAY

There is no doubt that our current and past circumstances deeply influence and tantalise us at every turn, but our circumstances do not have the final say as we seek our Majestic Lord in every season of the soul. The myriad of narratives around us are LOUD but ultimately we choose what to listen to. Whose counsel shall we take? Which elements of our lives will we treasure and chase after? Recognising this encourages us afresh to see past our inner and outer influences and to fix our eyes on the Lord.
